Abstract:To solve the match problem of multi-heat-exchangers module for vehicle cooling system, an extensive experimental investigation on the effects of inlet-outlet-tube location of heat exchanger module for a loader was carried out in Yinlun wind tunnel. Test results discussed are related to 2 inlet-outlet-tube location prototypes, having the same heat exchangers, which includes charge air cooler(CAC), hydraulic oil cooler (HOC), radiator, transmission oil cooler (TOC). In the A type, radiator is up-down stream, and the inlet tube of the other three coolers are in the same side, the outlets in the other side. In the B type, only the inlet and outlet tube of TOC exchanged based on the A type. The analysis shows that if the inlet location changed, the heat transfer will be increased by about 3% in the design air velocity, and pressure drop changed a little. So, the modulation of inlet-outlet-tube location of heat exchangers is a choice for heat exchanger module match design. And in-depth research of heat transfer and pressure loss of cooling module based on test bench is very important for cooling system performance evaluation and matching design at present.
