Grain drying is a non-linear process with a long delay and a high disturbance，and therefore it is difficult to control. A new human-simulated intelligent controller for continuous-flow grain dryers is proposed. The error of the outlet grain moisture content was used as the input parameter of the controller. The output parameter of the controller was the speed of the unloading auger. Proportional coefficient of the controller could be on-line adjusted according to the maximum error of moisture content. Hardware and software system were developed based on virtual instrument technology, DAQ card and moisture content sensor. Experiment indicates that test results may reflect the human-simulated rules and the controller is efficient.
