In order to improve the effect of laser shocking and increasing efficiency of industry production, the laser shock experiment to the austenitic stainless steel had been carried out. The improved black paint cooperating with water confinement layer and flexible coating was used respectively. It was found that improved black paint combined with water confinement layer will adapt to the demand of continuous laser shock processing from the analysis of hardness and compressive stress after laser shocking. The flexible coating based on macromolecule materials can become a better energy conversion body.
