The development of fuel cell vehicle HIL has been described based on the SAE J1939. Fuel cell engine, motor, NiMH battery and DC/DC mathematic model were established in PC. Communication between mathematic model and powertrain control module (PTCM) has been realized with high rate. Powertrain components malfunction of fuel cell vehicle was simulated to test and validate the diagnosis strategy.
