Based on the analysis of the related references and questionnaires from experts, a performance evaluation system for agricultural mechanization projects was built combined the features and the types of agricultural mechanization projects, as well as the selection principles of performance evaluation indexes. Then a fuzzy evaluation model for the performance of agricultural mechanization projects was established, in which the weight for each index was calculated by the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the factor set, evaluation set, weight set and judgment matrix were determined. At last, the model was verified and analyzed by an example.
