A steady and transit circulatory flux model of hydraulic transmission was set up to remedy the shortage of method of look-up table and system identification during vehicle powertrain analysis based on energy conservation principle and energy lost model, and an available sub-system of hydraulic transmission was provided by this theory. The test showed that the simulation result agreed well with test data, assumptions are rational and the model is correct.
