Abstract:In order to resolve the corn harvest problem on different row-spaces, a 4YZ-180 model corn-harvester with regardless of row was developed. The orthogonal experimental study was conducted to validate the adaptability of the crop divider in corn field, which was based on 3 factors and 3 levels, namely, velocity of machine, ground clearance of the crop divider cusp, and angle formed by crop divider plane and ground. The experimental results indicated that the crop divider of this machine had good adaptability. The sequence of 3 factors and the relations of factors and targets were analyzed subsequently,,and the optimal project was obtained. The analysis results are of significance to the operation of the machine.
